CINCINNATI —A day after the Bengals trimmed down their roster, the team is bringing back players to its practice squad.On Tuesday, the Bengals announced 16 players were cut by the team.

Among the players waived by the Bengals on Tuesday included offensive lineman Trey Hill and wide receiver Shedrick Jackson, who each have seen several games on the field for Cincinnati during the last two seasons.

Two players, cornerback Jalen Davis and quarterback Logan Woodside, had their contracts terminated, making them free agents.

On Wednesday, it was announced Davis has agreed to stay on in Cincinnati per a source.
