Johnnie Jackson believes Ayoub Assal’s move to Qatari club Al-Wakrah will change his life.
The 21-year-old moved to the Qatar Stars League after Al-Wakrah triggered his release clause. The deal, which was completed on Friday, set a club record for transfer fees in the AFC Wimbledon era.
Assal, an academy graduate with 18 months on his contract, made 97 appearances for the Dons and scored 24 goals and assisted 13 times.
