Report: Indiana set to host Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula
The Nittany Lions’ second stringer is set to visit Bloomington in the coming weeks.
Indiana is set to host Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula for an official visit in the coming weeks, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports:
The signal caller is also visiting Missouri, Iowa and UCF. With the transfer portal, it’s not a guarantee a prospect takes all of their visits. One of the programs could wrap things up with Pribula while he’s on campus.
Pribula has seen more use than most other depth quarterbacks in Penn State’s unique offense. He’s thrown for 275 yards and five touchdowns while completing 74..3% of his passes while rushing for 242 yards.
Indiana will be looking to replace sixth-year senior Kurtis Rourke next season after the senior blossomed back into being one of the best quarterbacks in the country this season. Any portal addition would likely compete for the job with Tayven Jackson, Alberto Mendoza and Tyler Cherry.
The Hoosiers will absolutely sign a transfer quarterback, Cignetti has already said that much. The program is still looking to replace outgoing quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the staff has names in mind for the job.
