four-star RB Ezavier Crowell commit to Georgia Bulldogs

Ezavier Crowell, a four-star running back from Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Iron Bowl between the Alabama Crimson Tide and their state rivals, the Auburn Tigers, on Saturday, November 30th, 2024.

According to several recruiting sites, the four-star running back from Jackson, Alabama, is currently the number one running back in the 2027 class, with On3 ranking Crowell as the number one player in the state of Alabama in the 2027 class and the seven-best prospect in his class.

The 5’11”, 205-pound running back had a great sophomore season with the Jackson Aggies, leading them to a 12-1 record thanks to his 1,500 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, according to Crowell’s Hudl account. Crowell, the State of Alabama’s top prospect for the 2027 class, continued to impress in the postseason, rushing for 195 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries in Jackson’s round-three 41-10 victory over Tallahassee High School, securing his team’s spot in the AHSAA State Playoffs’ fourth round.

Crowell, a four-star running back, has visited Alabama’s campus many times since Kalen Deboer took over for the Crimson Tide. Crowell was in Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Western Kentucky, which saw the Crimson Tide thrash the Hilltoppers 63-0, leaving the running back from Jackson, Mississippi, high on the Tide, telling Rivals that “Bama Visit was great” and that “They sit at the top of my list.”

This would be a significant addition to Kalen Deboer and the Crimson Tide’s 2027 recruiting class, which currently ranks first in the nation according to 247 Sports. The Tide already has three commits in this class, and the addition of Crowell would give the Crimson Tide their first running back in the 2027 recruiting class.
