So Sad: Kyle Shanahan Announced a Devastating News

Kyle Shanahan Sends Clear Message to 49ers Locker Room After Confirming Major Absences Including Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa

For the Niners, this season hasn’t been pleasant. It’s more like a rough ride. With a 5-5 win-loss record, they’re sitting in 4th position in the NFC West. If that was bad, brace yourselves for more bad news. HC Kyle Shanahan announced the injury list after the practice on November 22, and his revelations were shocking.

He revealed Nick Bosa and Brock Purdy were out for the week 12 game against the Packers. It came off as a surprise to the fans, the players, and even to the coach himself. OT Trent Williams and OL Jon Feliciano are also questionable. He looked sad and gloomy, but there was a belief inside. While talking to the reporters, he also gave an inspiring message to his locker room.

Highlighting that their team was still strong despite Bosa and Purdy, Kyle Shanahan said, “I know it’s disappointing. We knew there was a chance with Nick. I think the guys were a little surprised with Brock yesterday. But we’re gonna have 48 guys in uniform. I know our guys believe in themselves. I know I believe in them. We’re missing two good players definitely, but we’ve got a lot of good players.” That’s some positivity for the locker room right there.

However, things on the ground wouldn’t be so easy. With 7 wins & 3 losses, the Packers are a tough opponent. The quarterback can be a difference here. While Jordan Love is fit and healthy, Purdy would not be there. This year, Love has a 5-3 win-loss record. There’s one more factor too. Playing at their home, the Lambeau Field, would also give them energy.
