Hardline, an American hard rock band, has made a significant impact since its formation in the early 1990s. Founded by brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli, Hardline’s mission was to blend powerful, anthem-like rock with melody-driven hooks, setting them apart in the melodic rock genre. Their debut album, *Double Eclipse* (1992), was a groundbreaking release, featuring hits like “Hot Cherie” and “Takin’ Me Down.” The album’s success was boosted by the involvement of Neal Schon, the renowned guitarist from Journey, whose influence brought additional intensity and helped capture a loyal fan base.

The revived lineup produced *Leaving the End Open* in 2009, which reestablished Hardline’s presence in the rock scene.

The band’s subsequent albums, including *Danger Zone* (2012) and *Human Nature* (2016), brought Hardline into the modern rock era, drawing both loyal fans and new listeners. Johnny Gioeli’s powerful vocals, coupled with Del Vecchio’s production expertise, created a dynamic sound that blended European influences with American hard rock. Hardline continued to tour and release music, including *Life* in 2019, which resonated with fans by staying true to their signature style while exploring new musical elements.
