There’s plenty to debate when picking a star-studded side between the two Super League Grand Finalists.

Fullback – Jai Field (Wigan Warriors)
Niall Evalds has had a great debut season for Hull KR and his stats stand up against any fullback in the competition. This hasn’t been the most prolific season of Field’s career but he’s an exceptional player that you just can’t leave out.

Wing – Liam Marshall (Wigan Warriors)
Super League’s top-scorer is in exceptional form and the best in the competition at present. The left-wing spot is between him and Ryan Hall, the competition’s best-ever winger, but it’s difficult to leave Marshall out.

Centre – Jake Wardle (Wigan Warriors)
One of the easier selections, Wardle has been the best centre in the competition this year, arguably last year too, and is one of the biggest threats Hull KR have to deal with this weekend.

Centre – Peta Hiku (Hull KR)
Hull KR’s first inclusion is their 16-try Kiwi. He’s had an excellent first season with the club and that’s been reflected with his inclusion in New Zealand’s squad for the Autumn. He gets the nod over Adam Keighran.

Wing – Joe Burgess (Hull KR)
One of the tougher picks this one, but Burgess just about gets the nod over Abbas Miski after an outstanding season for the Robins. He’s come up with some huge moments this year and while Miski is consistently a solid performer, Burgess’ match-winning qualities give him the nod.

Stand-off – Bevan French (Wigan Warriors)
Do we need to even explain this one? Tyrone May is great but Bevan French is freakishly good. One of Super League’s best-ever, he’s still at the top of his game.
