The Celtics attempted a franchise-record 63 three-pointers but converted only 31.7% of them. Jayson Tatum was the standout for Boston, recording 33 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Derrick White and Al Horford combined for 40 points, each sinking six three-pointers. However, Jaylen Brown struggled, managing just 10 points before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.
This win not only halted Boston’s five-game winning streak but also marked Oklahoma City’s eighth victory in their last nine games. The Thunder’s resilience was evident as they outscored the Celtics 30-24 in the final quarter, showcasing their defensive prowess by limiting Boston’s three-point efficiency.
