
Breaking News: The Wisconsin basketball veteran previously called his teammate’s absence from the awards “laughable.”

Blackwell struck a more humble tone when asked if he felt the same way as Klesmit.

In Blackwell’s sophomore campaign, the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native averaged 16.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in conference play. Klesmit, however, noted that the Brother Rice High School product has left a mark on their team beyond those impressive numbers.
“I think he impacts winning at a really high level, too. I think it goes beyond the stat sheet,” Klesmit boasted.
