As of January 2025, there is no official announcement regarding a collaboration between Baylor University and Netflix for a documentary. However, Baylor has been proactive in producing its own content. In August 2024, Baylor+ released “The Miracle on the Brazos,” a documentary chronicling the 1974 Baylor Bears football team’s remarkable season under head coach Grant Teaff.
Additionally, in 2017, Showtime released “Disgraced,” a feature-length documentary examining the 2003 murder of Baylor basketball player Patrick Dennehy and the subsequent scandal.
