Bengals Respond to NFL’s Joe Burrow Announcement With 2-Word Message

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow finished the 2024 NFL regular season with some incredible individual statistics. Through 17 game appearances, the 28-year-old QB completed 70.6% of his pass attempts for a league-leading 4,918 yards and 43 touchdowns.

Burrow and the Bengals finished the regular season hotter than any team in the league, winning five consecutive games to close out the year. Burrow led the way for his team in each of those victories, putting on some stellar individual performances.

The Bengals played in six games since Dec. 1. Over that span, Burrow completed 186 of his 244 pass attempts for 1,890 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.

The NFL recognized Burrow’s play with an announcement on Thursday, naming him the AFC Offensive Player of the Month. This marks Burrow’s second consecutive AFC Offensive Player of the Month award, and the second of his NFL career.

The Bengals reacted to this announcement with a simple message on social media.

Unfortunately for the Bengals, Burrow’s MVP-caliber play wasn’t enough to overcome a slow start to the 2024 NFL season. Cincinnati finished the year with a 9-8 record, narrowly missing the playoffs.

Burrow will look to build off this impressive play when he and the Bengals return to the field for another NFL season in 2025.
