DEAL CONFIRMED: LSU Tigers Welcomes Another Key Player Who Has Today Signed With The Club On The Opening…

Family ties a theme for LSU football on signing day…

Family ties were a theme for LSU on Early National signing day as LSU signed two players in its 2025 class whose brothers currently play with the Tigers.

Offensive lineman Bo Bordelon’s brother, Brett, is a three-star offensive lineman from New Orleans, LA. Zach Weeks, a four-star linebacker from Watkinsville, GA, has two older brothers on the team in Whit and West. Both are also linebackers.

Brett chose his home state school over three SEC foes while Zach selected LSU over Ohio State, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

Bo appeared in every game over the last two seasons, playing in front of Heisman-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels and current gunslinger Garrett Nussmeier. His younger brother is set to join one of the best offensive line units in the country.

Bo and Brett’s father, Ben, was an All-SEC lineman for LSU in the 90’s.

Zach falls in line with his lineage as a linebacker at LSU. Whit leads the Tigers with 119 total tackles and ranks third with 3.5 sacks.

The sophomore also impacts the passing game and is one of four players on the defense with an interception. His breakout season led him to being third in the SEC in stops, according to Pro Football Focus.

West transferred to LSU after one season at Virginia. During the 2024 season, his third with the Tigers, he only played in four games as he dealt with an injury. The senior played every game during the 2022 and ’23 seasons, contributing a combined 44 total tackles.

The connections don’t stop there, though. LSU signed JD LaFleur, son of former Tiger tight end David LaFleur.
