Texarkana WR Dequane Prevo commits to Arkansas football
Arkansas football’s class of 2026 added a third 4-star prospect Sunday with the commitment of receiver Dequane Prevo.
He told Arkansas coach Sam Pittman of his decision on Instagram live.
Prevo, 5-10 and 160 pounds, of Texarkana (Texas) Liberty-Eylau narrowed his list of 20-plus offers to Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Penn State before choosing the Razorbacks.
Arkansas receivers coach Ronnie Fouch was his lead recruiter.
In 10 games this season, Prevo has 62 catches for 1,355 yards and 20 touchdowns, and has rushed 8 times for 84 yards and 1 touchdown. He has 16 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 pass breakup on defense.
Three of the four major recruiting services rate Prevo a 4-star recruit. On3.com lists him as the No. 45 receiver in the nation and the No. 277 overall prospect. He is rated the No. 35 recruit in Texas.
Rivals is the highest on Prevo, ranking him the No. 15 athlete nationally and the No. 218 overall prospect.
Arkansas commitments Colton Yarbrough, a defensive end, and Tay Lockett, a cornerback, are rated 4-star prospects by 247Sports and Rivals.
Prevo is the seventh pledge to the Razorbacks in the 2026 class.
