Deion Sanders announced a devastating news

Deion Sanders plans to block NFL teams from drafting son Shedeur

Coach Prime wants the Colorado Buffaloes’ quarterback to go

Deion Sanders could block unfavorable NFL teams from drafting his quarterback son Shedeur as Coach Prime wants to ensure the Colorado Buffaloes‘ star goes to the right home, with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants waiting.

The 22-year-old has tossed for 2882 yards and 24 touchdowns ahead of November 16’s clash with the Utah Utes and has inspired his NCAA team to a 7-2 record, with a bowl game already in the bag for the Boulder-based side.

And he’s attracting attention too. Forecast to be a first-round pick, he could be viewed as the answers to the Raiders’ O’Connell question and the Giants’ Daniel Jones woes and would allow them to save a substantial amount of money in salary cap space.

Yet they must win the affections of the 57-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion if they aim to land their next-gen QB, as he declares he aims to protect both his kid from landing at the wrong stadium in 2025.

“I’m gonna be dad until the cows come home,” Sanders said, adding he will block moves privately, to USA Today. “And with Travis [Hunter], as well.

“Somebody that can handle the quarterback that he is, somebody that can handle understanding what he’s capable of, someone that has had success in the past handling quarterbacks.

Thank you for watching

“Or someone in the organization who understands what they’re doing and not just throwing you out there among the wolves when you don’t have support in the infrastructure of the team.

“Forget the (offensive) line. He’s played with lines that haven’t been great, but he’s been able to do his thing. But the infrastructure of the team and the direction of where we’re going. He can deal with anything.”

Hunter, meanwhile, could be picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars after starring as a two-way player for the Buffaloes in 2024 by leading the wide receiver role and the cornerback role on the defense.

The 21-year-old has made 856 yards for nine touchdowns, whilst when his offensive colleagues are on the sidelines, he’s produced 13 solo tackles, seven deflected passes and a forced fumble. He has also made an interception touchdown.
