What teams are Florida State football’s transfer departures playing for in 2024?
Florida State football has been one of the consistent winners in the Transfer Portal with some super-talented additions over the past few years.
The Seminoles have had their fair share of transfer departures as well — but there haven’t been many success stories for the players who have exited the program via the portal over the last few years.
Will this year, with nearly two-dozen transfer departures out for the ‘Noles, be the year we see some former players make names for themselves at their new schools?
Here’a a breakdown of where each transfer ended up and how they’re faring at their new institution:
According to a report by the Hattiesburg American, after Southern Miss’ first fall camp scrimmage, Tate Rodemaker has the edge at quarterback. He is competing with two other signal callers for the QB1 spot. In that report, they mentioned that Rodemaker completed 10 of 16 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns during the scrimmage. It sounds like Rodemaker will lead the Golden Eagles’ offense in 2024.
In a report describing a EA Sports CFB25 event, the East Village Times described AJ Duffy as the ‘leading candidate’ to start at quarterback for the Aztecs this fall. Duffy served in a very limited role during his time in Tallahassee but under new head coach Sean Lewis’ passing attack, he could thrive.
