Sea Eagles farewell departing players
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have paid tribute to five departing players following their final commitments for the Club.
Curtis Sironen, Moses Suli, Tevita Funa, Jack Gosiewski, and Zac Saddler were all acknowledged at the Club’s recent Presentation Dinner held on the Sunshine Coast.
The Sea Eagles thank all five players for their positive contributions on and off the field and wish them all the very best for the future.

Curtis Sironen arrived at the Sea Eagles in 2017 after making his NRL debut as an 18-year-old five-eighth for the Wests Tigers in 2012.
After a tough first two years at Manly due to injury, Sironen established himself as a quality back-rower alongside Joel Thompson in 2019, playing 22 games.
A respected clubman, Sironen played 66 matches for Manly and crossed for 17 tries, including a double in a memorable 100th NRL game in the 30-12 win over the Gold Coast Titans in 2019.
Jack Gosiewski joined the Sea Eagles in 2018 searching for more opportunities after six NRL games for South Sydney.
The second-rower played 46 matches for Manly with his best season coming in 2019 where he played 19 matches
Gosiewski scored 11 tries for the Sea Eagles.
Moses Suli joined the Manly Sea Eagles in 2018 following stints at the Wests Tigers and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
The hard running centre established himself in the Sea Eagles backline over the past four years with 2019 being his most consistent season, playing in 22 games.
Suli scored 12 tries in 63 matches for the Sea Eagles.
The Club has agreed to release Moses from the final year of his contract.
Tevita Funa made his NRL debut for Manly in 2020 after being one of the standout players in the Sea Eagles’ U20s premiership win in 2017.
Funa scored five tries in 12 games last season to win the Club’s Rookie of the Year award following his fine NRL debut against Brisbane at Central Coast Stadium.
