Form
Sitting in 13th on the NRL ladder, the Warriors have won only one of their last four. Their most recent performance, a 30-20 loss to the 16th placed Eels, was one of their worst efforts of the season. For the Dolphins, they are in ninth, just two competition points outside of the top eight, but like the Warriors, they have only won one of their last four.
TAB odds
The Dolphins are $1.44 favourites in the head-to-head market with the Warriors paying $2.80.
What to expect
Being at home and with a much more realistic hope of making the finals, the Dolphins should be more desperate in this one. But like the Warriors, they are in a form slump of their own. The Warriors need a string of other results to go their way in the final five rounds so might well play with a nothing to lose type mindset, which can be dangerous for the opposition. The Dolphins are deserved favourites but it’s a tough one to pick with any confidence.
