ountry Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson announced this week that he’s extending his final American arena tour, including a Michigan date.

His Last Call: One More for the Road tour sold out arenas coast-to-coast in 2022. Jackson announced he’s ready for a good time by announcing a continuation of that tour in 2024-2025 with 10 new tour stops.

The 65-year-old has been dealing with a degenerative nerve condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.

This tour will be one final chance for fans to see and hear the singer-songwriter perform hit songs like “Chattahoochee” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.”

“Fans know when they come to my shows, they’re going to hear the songs that made me who I am – the ones they love,” he said. “I’ve been touring for over 30 years – my daughters are all grown, we have one grandchild and one on the way…and I’m enjoying spending more time at home. But my fans always show up to have a good time, and I’m going to give them the best show I can for this Last Call.”

Tickets for the Grand Rapids leg of the tour go on sale Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m

The artist said every dollar sold for the tour will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding treatments and cures for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. CMTRF donors will match each dollar.
