Tony Clubb will leave the Wigan Warriors at the end of the season.

According to an RFL document obtained by Rugby League Live, the Warriors have not offered the experienced forward terms for next season.

Clubb, who is currently serving an eight-match ban for using “unacceptable language based on national or ethnic origin,” is in his eighth season with the club.

However, his time with the Warriors will come to an end after the RFL document revealed that he had not been offered terms for next season.
Clubb, who turns 34 on Saturday, has made over 150 appearances since joining the DW Stadium.

The list also includes four other off-contract players whose status is described as ‘not yet determined.’

Bevan French, Dom Manfredi, Tommy Leuluai, and Amir Bourouh are all mentioned, but it’s the players who aren’t on the list who provide the most interesting discussion points.

As expected, Jackson Hastings and Oliver Gildart are not included, as both will join the Wests Tigers at the end of the season.
Joe Bullock is also absent, with a move to Warrington Wolves rumored to be completed.

However, three other off-contract players, Sam Powell, Jake Bibby, and Willie Isa, are not on the list.

When a player isn’t on the list, it usually means their future has been decided, either with their current club or a rival. The trio are all in the final year of their existing contracts.

This year, there have been some anomalies that call the document’s validity into question. For example, Alex Sutcliffe is listed as one of Leeds’ undecided players, but the club has already announced his departure at the end of the season.

However, the absence of the aforementioned trio will have Wigan fans hoping that the club has secured their contracts for next season and beyond.

It also implies that neither Leuluai nor French have made decisions about what the future holds.

Captain Leuluai turns 36 later this month and has previously stated that he will make a decision on his future later this year, whereas French has an option in his contract to stay with the club for another year.
The Wigan Warriors’ off-contract list, according to the RFL:

Amir Bourouh, Dom Manfredi, Bevan French, and Tommy Leuluai have yet to be determined.

No offer: Tony Clubb
