Pittsburgh International Airport Adding 15 New Dining Spots & Shops

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — The opening of Pittsburgh International Airport’s new terminal next year will bring 15 new restaurants and retailers, the Allegheny County Airport Authority announced Tuesday.
The mix will include national and local eateries and businesses.
“We are excited to welcome new and expanded business partners at the airport who are excited to be a part of the transformation of their airport,” Paul Dietz, airport senior vice president of air service and commercial development, told Blue Sky News,the airport’s online news site. “We appreciate the investment they are making into the passenger experience and their support of the growing business and economic impact our airport has on this region.”
The additions will include:
- Shake Shack, the burger chain that recently opened its first Pittsburgh location in the Strip District.
- Jimmy Johns, the national sandwich chain.
- Bad Egg, a breakfast bar.
- Sambazon Acai, which offers acai-based food and beverages.
- Cafe Conmigo, a Wexford-based coffee and tea house.
- Stack & Press Delicatessen.
- Mi Casa Cantina, a Mexican restaurant.
- Camden Food Market.
- Champion City Sports.
- MAC, a makeup and cosmetics store.
- Duquesne & Co., a gifting and accessories store.
Specific information on locations, hours and opening dates will be announced as the opening of the new terminal draws closer.
