Team Canada Announces Training Camp Roster With OKC Thunder Standouts
The Oklahoma City Thunder see a pair of standouts on the Team Canada roster as they prepare for Olympic training camp.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will have a lot to keep an eye on this summer, with the Olympics, Summer League, and internal development. One of the most important teams to watch during the Olympics will be Team Canada, which features a pair of OKC Thunder standouts.

On Wednesday, Team Canada announced their training camp roster, which included MVP runner-up Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and defensive ace Lu Dort. The Canadians appear to have a formidable roster to win gold at the Paris games.
There will be no shortage of NBA stars joining Gilgeous-Alexander and Dort, as the team’s training camp ledger lists 15 members with NBA experience (including incoming rookie Zach Edey). Team Canada will start camp in Toronto on June 28.

Their training camp will include exhibition games against Team USA on July 10 and Team France on an undetermined date.

Team Canada will have to reduce their camp roster from 20 to 12, with a target date of July 11 when they ship out of Vegas after their clash with Team USA. Barring injury, Thunder standouts Gilgeous-Alexander and Dort are expected to make the squad and play heavily in the rotation for Team Canada.

Canada appears to be on track for a successful Olympic run, with a slew of NBA stars, including Gilgeous-Alexander and Nuggets star Jamal Murray. A combination of scorers and defenders will make the Canadians a force in Paris.
