The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team received more good news for its defense, which is looking to reload for the 2024 season.
The 2023 season did not end as Nebraska football fans had hoped, but there is still reason to be optimistic about 2024. The number of returning players is at the top of the list of reasons Nebraska Cornhuskers fans should be excited.

His return to the Nebraska Cornhuskers is especially encouraging given Bullock’s breakout 2023 season, during which he rose to the top of the inside linebacker rotation as the season progressed. He started 10 of 12 games and finished fourth on the team with 50 tackles, a career high.
Bullock was also considered a team leader from the beginning of the season. He was one of the few players who was allowed to wear a single-digit jersey. Bullock will now return in 2024 for a Nebraska Cornhuskers team that expects a “bowl or bust” finish to next season.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are preparing for their winter graduation. 33 current and former Husker student-athletes from all sports will receive their degrees at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’sDecemberCommencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Five All-Americans lead Nebraska’s graduating class, which also includes 18 Husker football players. First-team soccer All-American Eleanor Dale is a standout member of the group, while Omar Brown will participate in the East-West Shrine Game later this winter. The defensive back, who announced his intention to try his hand in the NFL earlier this month, will compete in the February 1 event, which will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
