His return to the Nebraska Cornhuskers is especially encouraging given Bullock’s breakout 2023 season, during which he rose to the top of the inside linebacker rotation as the season progressed. He started 10 of 12 games and finished fourth on the team with 50 tackles, a career high.

Bullock was also considered a team leader from the beginning of the season. He was one of the few players who was allowed to wear a single-digit jersey. Bullock will now return in 2024 for a Nebraska Cornhuskers team that expects a “bowl or bust” finish to next season.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are preparing for their winter graduation. 33 current and former Husker student-athletes from all sports will receive their degrees at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’sDecemberCommencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
