Tennessee has added another commitment this weekend, picking up a pledge from four-star defensive lineman Charles House on Saturday. The Huntersville, North Carolina native picked the Volunteers over offers from several top programs.
House stands in at 6-3, 288 pounds and attends North Mecklenburg High School. According to On3 Sports, House ranks as the 284th overall prospect in the class of 2025. He’s the ninth ranked player in the state of North Carolina.
House also held offers from Alabama and Georgia, among many others. He joins four-star prospects Ethan Utley and Jayden Loftin on the defensive line in the class of 2025.
Just like a few other commits this week — House is coming off of his official visit to Knoxville last weekend. Notably, House took official visits to Alabama (May 31) and Georgia (June 7) before coming to Knoxville.
His first visit to Tennessee came last fall during the Texas A&M game, which was a wild ‘Checker Neyland’ event. Tennessee offered him a scholarship back in September of 2023. He’s since been a riser, earning several big-time offers over the last few months.
House will join Tennessee’s defensive line room looking to become the next success story of Rodney Garner, who has totally transformed Tennessee’s defensive front.
