Done Deal: $42 million five star running back commits to NZ Warriors

The Warriors have been beaten by the Melbourne Storm 38-24 in Auckland.

The Warriors made a fast start, running out to a 14-0 lead after 18 minutes.

The Storm worked their way into the game soon after, with former Warrior Eli Katoa scoring.

The visitors took a 20-14 lead into halftime, pushed on with the job from there.

The Warriors spent time without wingers, with both Marcelo Montoya and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak sin binned. They also finished the game with centres Adam Pompey and Rocco Berry having left the field early due to injury.
