St. Louis Battlehawks fans are yelling “kaw-kaw” Monday morning.
The UFL has announced the Battlehawks’ schedule for the 2024 season. FOX 2’s Blair Ledet spoke to the franchise’s wide receiver, Darius Shepherd, about the excitement going into this newly-merged brand of football.
Shepherd also shared details about playing for new teams and the differences that will effect the upcoming years.

The United Football League (UFL) is set to introduce an exciting inaugural season, featuring a total of 43 games, including 40 regular season games, two Conference Championship games, and one Championship game.
The League is organized into two conferences: the USFL, comprising teams like the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, and Michigan Panthers; and the XFL, including the Arlington Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, and St. Louis Battlehawks.
The schedule involves each team playing six in-conference games and four inter-conference matchups, leading to the Conference Championships which will see the top two teams from each conference compete based on their records.
